Description
Import model Aiko Tanaka asked me if I would do a pinup of her for her website. This was a 20 X 30 inch oil painting originally but I was never satisfied with it so I repainted a scan of it in PS7. I used PS6 to create brushes using the brush strokes on the original painting and imported the brushes into PS7.

Am I the only one getting water in my mouth
Very very nicely done!! There are just a couple of details wich got my eye...
Her left eye seems a bit flat (this could just be me!!!), but on top of her left wrist there is a litt "bump". There should definitly be an angle there, but this seems a bit to pointy

Yup, that's the chick from Soul Train. If you recognized her, my job here is done. Talk to her? I had to go to Hollywood to shoot the reference material for this piece. If you go to the San Diego Comic con she'll be signing autographs with me at the BloodFire Studios booth and she'll also be at the Yolk/Top Cow booth. Then you can talk to her too.
Nikko:
Glad you like the piece. A few notes on your critiques; she has a flat face (she's Japaneese and Korean) and that bump on her left wrist is the bone in her wrist. I tried to smooth her wrist bone down a bit but it looked odd to me at this angel with out it. As for the flat eyes, the face is is the most important part of painting someone so there is not much I could do to solve that and still have it look like Aiko.
